An Aussie mum has shared a surprising hack for making 'perfectly' fried eggs, even when you're on the go.

An Aussie mum has revealed how she makes perfect fried eggs using Kmart's popular $15 microwave toastie maker.

And it takes less than four minutes.

The mum was excited to share her cooking tip online and started by spraying both sides of the toastie maker with oil.

She then cracked an egg on the middle of one of the plates, sealed it and popped it in the microwave to cook.

'It worked,' the delighted mum said as she opened the toastie maker to reveal the cooked egg.

The mum recommended cooking the egg for a little less than four minutes,as the yolk was a bit drier than she usually likes.

People were thrilled with the cooking tip.

'Maybe add a rasher of bacon as well and you have breakfast sorted,' one woman suggested.
